Few months ago I spent several days in the Austrian Alps. While others were skying I was exploring the surrounding mountains. And I could feel that this place was speaking my language. Steep hills, frozen waterfalls, weather that changes every hour…. One day there were only remnants of old snow and second you could barely see through heavy snowstorm. And at that I was painting. I could because I had oils and snow doesn’t matter to oils. Besides frozen fingers there was nothing to stop me from capturing whatever I liked.
